Creating Your Profile

Your VibeLink profile is your identity on campus. Here’s how to create and customize it to make the most of your experience.

Step-by-Step Profile Setup

Download and Open VibeLink

Download VibeLink from the App Store or Google Play Store and open the app on your device.

Sign Up with Your University Email

Tap "Create Account" and enter your university email address. This ensures you're connected to your campus community.

Tip: Use your .edu email address for automatic verification and access to your university's clubs.

Verify Your Email

Check your email for a verification link and click it to confirm your account. This usually takes just a few seconds.

Add Your Basic Information

Fill in your profile details:

Full Name: How you want to be identified on campus
Username: A unique handle for your profile
Year: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate
Major: Your field of study
Bio: A short description about yourself (optional but recommended)

Upload a Profile Picture

Choose a clear, friendly photo of yourself. You can:

Take a new photo with your camera
Upload from your photo library
Import from social media accounts

Select Your Interests

Choose topics and activities you're interested in. This helps VibeLink recommend relevant clubs and events:

Customizing Your Profile

After initial setup, you can further customize:

Profile Sections You Can Add

Social Links: Connect your Instagram, LinkedIn, or other social profiles
Clubs & Organizations: Showcase the clubs you’re part of
Skills & Interests: Highlight your talents and hobbies
Contact Preferences: Set how you want to be contacted

Profile Best Practices

Use a clear profile picture:

A friendly, recognizable photo helps others connect with you

Write an engaging bio:

Share your passions, major, and what you're looking for

Select accurate interests:

This ensures you get relevant club and event recommendations

Keep it professional:

Remember, club leaders and fellow students can see your profile

Editing Your Profile Later

You can update your profile anytime:

Tap your profile icon in the bottom navigation
Tap “Edit Profile”
Make your changes
Tap “Save” when done
